Students writing research papers or book reviews will find The Southern Seminary Manual of Style helpful in addressing many of their formatting questions. As always, for formatting consult The Chicago Manual of Style and The SBL Handbook of Style as well as the SBTS Citation (Turabian) Quick Guide andThe Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Style Guide when writing. However grammar, syntax, and mechanics are necessary for quality writing, too. Grammar questions come up to writers often and the Writing Center has provided resources to address common grammatical and syntactical areas of confusion here.
